Great American Beer Fest

ProAm & Other Competition News

It is now official:
Our Loggerhead Porter has been accepted as an entry in the ProAm at the Great American Beer Fest, which will take place in October, 2016. Currently, the Loggerhead Porter is in a 46 degree lager environment at The BoB. We will submit it for judging during the first or second week of September. To say we are excited would be an understatement!

Game Time at the BoB

July 12th, at The Brew On Broadway (The BoB):

Intensity grew this last week at the BoB. We brewed the beers they were entering into the Great American Beer Fest (GABF) this year. The brew day started with their Social Club Coffee Milk Stout, then went on to their Tramway Rye Extra Pale Ale, and ended with their Cinderella Twin IIPA. We double-checked everything and ensured that sanitation was at an all-time high.

Applied Craft Brewing – ProAm GABF 2016

July 3rd, at The Brew On Broadway (BoB)

In an earlier post I mentioned we took second place at 8 Seconds of Froth. The BoB has sponsored our entry of the Loggerhead Porter into the ProAm competition at the Great American Beer Fest.

My wife and I had a blast brewing this beer with Paul and Sam. This is truly an accumulation of everything that I have learned from The Applied Craft Brewing Certificate Program at Regis University, as well as my homebrewing experience.
